Issues We Address

Addressing the Obstacles to Reentry

At REMEMBER MY PRISONERS, INC, we are dedicated to breaking down the barriers faced by formerly incarcerated individuals. We address the systemic challenges that prevent them from reintegrating into society and living fulfilling lives. Our work is rooted in understanding, empathy, and action to create meaningful solutions.

Barriers to Employment

For many, a criminal record becomes an almost insurmountable barrier to finding meaningful employment. Without access to stable jobs, individuals struggle to support themselves and their families, increasing the risk of recidivism.

Lack of Education and Resources

Limited access to education and resources during and after incarceration hinders personal and professional growth. Many individuals are left unequipped to navigate the challenges of reintegration.

Mental Health Challenges

The trauma of incarceration, combined with societal stigma, often leads to mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Unfortunately, access to mental health care is limited for many formerly incarcerated individuals.

Housing Instability

Stable housing is essential for successful reintegration, yet many returning citizens face homelessness or unstable living conditions due to financial barriers and housing discrimination.

Our Commitment

We believe in creating a world where everyone has a chance to rebuild their lives and contribute to society. By addressing these issues, REMEMBER MY PRISONERS, INC is paving the way for a more equitable future, one individual at a time.
